The Garden Master

All the refined elements of a traditional farmhouse complete with a clawfoot tub. Large ensuite bathroom with rain shower and travertine finishes. Antiques, fine art and custom velvet and linens add period authenticity that extends outdoor to the veranda. Magnificent views of dawn over Mount Kenya for those who wake early to reveal the splendour by simply opening the drapes.

The Study Bedroom

Tastefully decorated with fine linens, tribal rugs and a huge alcove dedicated to celebrating Kenya’s proud history of writers and storytellers. This stunning room features an ensuite bathroom and a queen size brass bed. All rooms supplied with Kenya made bath soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Wake up to view of the gardens and the views of the Abedares range.

The Children's Room

The Children’s Room in the main wing of the original house, features one or two double bunk beds complete with custom designed organic cotton linens ideal for families with children. A baby cot is available on request. The bathroom is fully ensuite. Parents sleep well knowing their children are next door and wrapped in comfort.

But this room is a chameleon: with notice, the Children’s Room can be fully converted to a super king bedroom for adults. A collection of Kenyan beaded masks blend elegance with African touches.

The Zebra Room

Located in the new wing of the house, near the Games Room, the Zebra Room is a second master suite. Newly decorated with Italian linens, local handwoven wool rugs and a gorgeous Lamu daybed, this is room is an oasis of calm in soft grays. Private and serene. It is an escape for the lucky guests who choose this room for their stay.

The Giraffe Room

Perched above the mezzanine level of the games room, the Giraffe Room is perfect for teenagers or that last minute guest with a bathroom close by. Close to the Games Room, just enough privacy to feel fully independent this is part of a brilliant place for those young people who love a late night hanging out playing games and watching movies.
